Bio

Michael joined Procyon through the merger with Pivotal Planning Group, LLC in 2021, bringing extensive expertise in retirement planning and investment management to the firm. His experience as a business consultant has been particularly valuable for business owners facing various challenges related to business growth, operations, and succession planning.

As a member of Procyon’s investment committee, Michael actively contributes to the firm’s investment decision-making processes. His dedication to professionalism is evident through his attainment of the Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF®) professional designation. This designation signifies his formal training in investment fiduciary due diligence and responsibility, awarded by the Center for Fiduciary Studies associated with the University of Pittsburgh.

In addition to the AIF® designation, Michael is a member of the Investment Management Consultants Association and holds the Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA®) designation from the Wharton School of Business. These qualifications further enhance his ability to research new investment opportunities and provide valuable insights to the firm’s Investment Policy Committee.

Michael’s educational background includes an MBA in Banking and Finance, with summa cum laude honors, from Dowling College. He is a member of the Delta Mu Delta National Finance Honor Society, highlighting his academic achievements in the field of finance.

Outside of work, Michael resides on Long Island with his wife and two daughters. His multiple degrees, professional designations, and extensive experience position him well to contribute to Procyon’s success in providing comprehensive retirement planning and investment management services.
