Phil has more than 20 years of experience in the institutional retirement arena since founding the FDG Group in 1997. Prior to co-founding Procyon Partners, Phil worked at UBS where he was a member of the Institutional Consulting Group and its Advisory Council, a Senior Institutional Consultant and a Senior Retirement Plan Consultant. He also served as Co-Chair of the Corporate Development Advisory Board and its Retirement Advisory Council. Phil has twice been recognized by 401KWire as one of the Nation's 300 Most Influential Advisors in the Defined Contribution Arena, by the Financial Times as one of their Top 400 US Advisors (2014), and as one of Barron's Top 1,200 Financial Advisors (2015). Phil is also a frequent speaker at national retirement conferences. Phil is a member of the NYC Columbus Citizens Foundation; he sits on the Western Connecticut Health Network (WCHN) Development Fund Board, its governance committee and on the Danbury Health Systems Board of Directors and its Strategic Development Committee. Phil graduated from the University of Hartford with a B.A., and later earned the Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA®) designation. Jeff has more than 18 years of experience guiding both individual and institutional clients’ wealth through multiple market cycles. Prior to co-founding Procyon Partners, Jeff worked at the FDG Group at UBS, serving as a Senior Portfolio Manager, Wealth Advisor, Institutional Consultant and Senior Retirement Plan Consultant. Prior to UBS he worked at Merrill Lynch for a decade as both an advisor and a resident director running an office of advisors. A decorated veteran, Jeff earned his B.S. degree at the U. S. Coast Guard Academy and an M.B.A. from the Anderson Graduate School of Management at UCLA. Committed to lifelong learning, Jeff holds the Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®), Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA®), and the Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF®) designations. He is currently on the Board of Directors of the CFP Board in Washington, DC, and is past President of the Financial Planning Association’s Fairfield County Chapter. He resides in Wilton, Connecticut, with his wife and their two children. He enjoys soccer and all water sports.
Lou Gloria, CRPC®, CRPS®
Managing Director
Lou specializes in two key areas: developing retirement planning strategies with a broad range of private clients and providing consulting services to retirement plan sponsors and their committees. As a trusted advisor, Lou spends much of his time working with business owners, medical professionals and executives simplifying their financial life by providing tailored solutions to their unique goals and aspirations. As a consultant, Lou works closely with plan sponsors and their investment committees on their qualified and non-qualified plans. Lou has more than 15 years of industry experience, and prior to co-founding Procyon Partners, earned the certified designations of Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC®) and a Chartered Retirement Plans Specialist (CRPS®) from the College for Financial Planning℠. Lou graduated from the University of South Carolina with a B.S. degree in Finance. Prior to the financial services industry, Lou had a six year career on the professional tennis tour. Lou has a passion for all things sports, gardening and resides in Orange, Connecticut with his wife and their two children.
Thomas Gahan, CRPS®
Managing Director
Tom has more than 20 years of experience in the retirement industry, dedicating his time to serving the needs of institutional clients by focusing on plan design, investment management, and participant education for both qualified and non-qualified retirement plans. Prior to co-founding Procyon Partners, Tom worked at the FDG Group at UBS and was a member of the company’s Institutional Consulting and Retirement Plan Consultant Groups. Before FDG, he worked in the Retirement Financial Services division at HSBC Bank USA, where he was recognized for his innovative plan design strategies and was invited to serve for multiple cycles as a member of the company’s prestigious President’s Council. Tom has earned designations as a Certified Retirement Plans Specialist (CRPS®), as a Chartered Financial Consultant and as a Chartered Life Underwriter. He is a graduate from SUNY Stony Brook with a B.A. degree in Economics. Tom resides in New York with his wife and their three children and enjoys golfing and attending his children’s sporting events.

Prior to co-founding Procyon Partners, Chris served as a Senior Wealth Strategy Associate and Institutional Analyst with the FDG Group at UBS. Chris joined UBS in 2008 as part of a select group of candidates chosen nationally to complete a two-year focused wealth management and institutional consulting rotational program. Chris is a graduate of the University of Connecticut and holds a B.S. degree in Finance, a B.A. degree in Political Science and has also earned designations as a Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA®) through the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business and as a Certified Retirement Plans Specialist (CRPS®) through the College for Financial Planning℠. Additionally, Chris was recognized by the National Association of Plan Advisors (NAPA) as one of their Top 50 Advisors Under 40 (a.k.a. "young guns") in 2016. He is a member of the Investment Management Consultants Association, a national industry association setting standards for Investment Consultants. Amber Kendrick, CPFA®, CRPS®
Retirement Plan Consultant
Prior to joining Procyon, Ambers career has focused on helping America’s workforce retire on their own terms. As a retirement plan consultant, she works closely with plan sponsors designing plans to promote retirement readiness for their employees.  In 2017, Amber was recognized by the National Association of Plan Advisors (NAPA) as one of their Top Advisors Under 40 (a.k.a. "young guns"), and added to the top female advisor list in 2017 and 2016. She was also featured in Employee Benefit Adviser Magazine as one of 2015’s Rising Stars in advising. Hartford Business Journal has also recently recognized her on their top 40 under 40 list. Amber exemplifies her dedication to the industry by holding her Chartered Retirement Plan Specialist (CRPS®) and Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor (CPFA) designations.

Amber is a graduate of East Carolina University where she received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. With her southern roots, she loves college football and coaches her niece’s cheerleading squad. She resides in Haddam, CT with her fiancé, two stepchildren, and fun loving dog Ernest.
Caroline Wetzel CFP®, AWMA®
Financial Advisor
Caroline has more than 16 years of financial services experience working in the United States and Switzerland. Prior to joining Procyon Partners as a Financial Advisor, Caroline worked at UBS and specialized in the development of comprehensive financial plans for affluent clients. Caroline earned her B.S. degree in Policy Analysis and Management at Cornell University and holds an M.B.A. in Finance and Advanced Certification in Marketing from the University of Connecticut School of Business. She also holds the Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) and Accredited Wealth Management Advisor (AWMA®) designations.

As a former corporate executive turned Financial Advisor, Caroline knows first-hand the unique challenges seasoned professionals experience when changing career paths and the importance of managing major life events with a trusted advisor and a financial plan. She spends much of her time assisting couples, women business leaders, and individuals in transition in taking control of their finances and realizing their goals through comprehensive financial planning.

Caroline resides in Milford, Connecticut with her husband and enjoys community organizing / social justice initiatives, practicing mindfulness and wellness activities, and boating around Long Island Sound.
